Knucklebones is constantly searching for fun, outgoing, spirited individuals to join our growing team! As a Coach & Play Specialist you will be responsible for:

• Traveling to clients throughout Boston and the Greater Boston area
• Organizing group games and activities (think all the best camp & gym games), explaining rules and acting as referee or participant throughout
• Communicating with clients, hosts and participants, providing updates where required and answering questions about the company
• Providing guidance, motivation and support for all participants
• Overseeing and planning customized athletics programs
• Creating a safe, enriching, and fun athletic experience
• Maintaining records (activities/games played & attendance)
• Having a fun, energetic and engaging personality

While the position works with all ages, our primary clientele is early childhood and school age (childcares, recreation departments, extended day camps, community events, private events, etc.).  This position has a flexible schedule and can complement other jobs, school or time restrictions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to engage in physical activity and complete tasks that may include sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 15lbs.
• Must be energetic, fun, active, personable, and creative
• Must be customer service oriented
• Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in youth-focused industry (e.g., physical education, camp counselor, recreation, childcare, nanny, coach, after school/extended day program, etc.)
• Prior experience in customer service industry

Compensation & Benefits

• Wages start between $30-$40 per hour
